This Privacy Policy describes how Azlan Transport Services ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information you provide when using our booking, dispatch, and invoicing services.

What we collect

Account data: name, email, phone number, language preference.
Booking data: pickup and dropoff addresses (free-typed or chosen from our suggested locations), dates and times, vehicle category, trip type (point-to-point, round trip, multi-day intercity, hourly disposal), route region, and any notes you provide.
Geolocation (optional): if you tap the "Use my current location" button on the pickup field, your browser asks your permission and then shares your GPS coordinates with the OpenStreetMap Foundation's Nominatim service to convert them into a readable address. We store only the resolved address text on your booking — never the raw coordinates. The button is optional; you can always type your address by hand. You can deny or revoke this permission in your browser settings at any time.
Verification documents (self-drive only): CNIC photo, driving licence photo, licence expiry date.
Payment data: handled by our payment processor; we store only the transaction reference and amount.
Third-party sign-in data: if you use "Continue with Google", Google shares your name, email, and profile picture with us. You can disconnect at any time from your Google account settings; Google's own privacy policy applies to data they hold.
Reviews: if you submit a review, the name, role, rating, and review text become public on our website after moderator approval. Don't include private information in a review.
Technical data: IP address, device, browser version, language, and pages visited.

How we use it

To confirm, dispatch, and bill your bookings.
To route drivers to your pickup address.
To verify your driving licence before self-drive handover.
To send booking confirmations and reminders over SMS, WhatsApp, and email.
To improve our service and maintain operational records.

Who we share with

Drivers and dispatchers assigned to your booking, our payment processor, SMS/WhatsApp gateway, hosting provider, error-tracking provider, and — if you tap the "Use my current location" button — the OpenStreetMap Foundation's Nominatim service for reverse-geocoding your GPS coordinates into an address. We do not sell your data.

Retention

Booking records are retained for seven years for tax compliance. Verification documents are deleted within ninety days of your last booking unless required for an open dispute. Raw GPS coordinates are never retained — only the resolved address text becomes part of your booking record.

Your rights

Email privacy@aztransport.pk to access, correct, or delete your data, or to opt out of marketing messages. We will respond within thirty days. Booking-related notifications (confirmation, driver-assigned, balance-due) are operational and cannot be opted out of while a booking is active.

Changes

We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when this policy changes.
